Fordhall Organic Farm
Endurabox was approached by Ben from Fordhall Organic Farm who was looking for a reliable manufacturer to fabricate some catering units for the community owned farm.
We were keen to be involved in the project given the community centric values of the farm as well as a rich and deep history of naturally beneficial practices and generations of environmental custodianship which we strive to emulate through our own family ran business.
Fordhall Organic Farm, in Market Drayton, north Shropshire, is England’s first community-owned farm following a high profile campaign in 2006. At the time over 8000 people across the world supported siblings Charlotte and Ben Hollins to save their family home. Now owned by the community and farmed by Ben Hollins, Fordhall is a wonderful example of community spirit and real organic farming.
Based on some rudimental sketches, the catering units were soon transformed into tangible reality with Endurabox fabricating several Catering units as well as “Hollies Bar”.
